I was interested in visiting this location after viewing the famous movie Topkapi,
where beautiful Melina Mercouri and arch-thief Maximilian Schell are trying to steal an emerald-encrusted dagger from the museum.
Here in the museum's most guarded section, kept in a glass display, is the Sultan's emerald-encrusted decorative dagger,
worth a million dollars or so... That's how the movie story goes.
