Plitvice: pronounced Plit-vi-che
Plitvice Lakes National Park is a 295-sq.-km forest reserve in central Croatia, about two hours drive south of Zagreb.
The park consists of chain of 16 lakes connected with many waterfalls, all located in a deep limestone canyon and surrounded by lush green forest.
Walking and exploring, the lakes, waterfalls and magnificent scenery is a wonderful experience for every photographer and nature lover.
