Concrete Ship The Atlantus, Sunset Beach This concrete ship has been sinking since it broke loose during a storm in the 1920's. No amount of budging can free her. Each year, a little less of the Atlantus is visible.. The ship was one of just a few experimental concrete craft built duriing World War I when steel was hard to get.
