20091106 - Moonrise SP

How did I stand still for last night's? I don't think I did! Distance from the camera helped and because it was a silhouette it didn't matter too much if there was some wobbling!

In this one I definitely moved, you can see a 'shadow' on the left edge of me. Hmph. In hindsight I think I'd have been better off just getting out of frame once the flash had fired. You live and learn!

Two for one...an amazing SP, and a marvelous nightime landscape. Superb!

Cleverly done.

Ah but a bit of movement adds to the overall ghostly effect to these sort of images :)

When I saw the thumbnail I thought you had the moon in your outstretched hand

Oh yes. We're all looking at the shadow. Not.

Perfect fill flash. I wish my 1D would allow longer than 30 second exposures other than bulb mode.

Shadow? What shadow?

Loving these long exposure shots of yours this month, its only a slight shadow so you did'nt move much in 78 seconds.

Actually thats not a bad idea.... saves you having to stand still !

Brilliant. I just wish my crappy monitor could deal with all those shades of orange.
