According to my planespotting books, I saw that at Colerne, Wiltshire on 24 June 1967 - a few museum planes were held there at the time.

I was trying to jog Phillips memory, pointing out the distinctive shape of the wings of an EE. The upper and far more superior drawing was done by Ray, the man with the photographic memory. Planespotting is cool, you know :)

It's an English Electric Lightning F2A, nearly extinct, with the only example in England being one that sits in a scrapyard in Newark.
