The Philippine Colugo is also known as the Philippine Flying Lemur. However, it is not a lemur and it also cannot fly. Its tail, feet and limbs are connected by a membrane known as patagium which allows it to glide to as far as 100 meters. It is nocturnal and less active during the day.
The Philippine Colugo is endemic to the Philippines, meaning it is native to the islands and found nowhere else in the world.
