A beautiful rendering of the blue tone that light has in the shadows. Perfect contrast with the yellow of the subject, that gets a livid, cold tone this way. I have encountered such a light few days ago in Rome.

Lovely picture...I don't think a picture must be technically perfect to be necessarily more meanigful. There are perfect pictures that are just academic and totally cold, while other, with some formal little imperfections, that are much more catching. It's the same with people, isn't it? A person can be beautiful without having any stereotyped scheme of beauty, just for what they can express in their way of being.
