Tauranga is the sixth largest New Zealand city, looking like lots of other seaside towns and known for its surfing. We walked around for a couple hours, trekking up a hill and buying the two bottles of NZ wine - a Sauvignon Blanc we had tried at the Hyatt and Marlborough County suggested by the proprietor.
