Photo taken in the Santa Cruz mountains, on this second day of the year of the Dog!
I drove my girls early to school, and dropped them off. With the freshness of the new year in my mind, alone, i took a trip to visit ... nature!

It was very quiet in the fog! I had to wait for a while for this photo, when for a moment, the sun came and went! It was Nature, of the moist and cold kind! I was amazed it was just minutes from the Valley! If you pay attention, you could hear the song of a morning bird, or the rustling of a quick squirrel on the trees... Memories of camping days with my family came right back, except, this was not summertime! :)

I am thankful for the camera i have. With it, i have recorded this scene forever in my mind, and relish it a lot. Before, i simply would have forgotten it all, upon returning home from the outing.
