Exellent materials and great variety. The vitamin c picture is an all time winner! Please, add more "bugs", protozoa, colembola, water worms, if you have. Thanks for sharing!

Wow, too cool! I have always liked polarized microscopy images a lot. Sadly, I had to sell my microscope (a really nice Zeiss, built like a tank and as heavy) when I was a student and couldn't pay the rent. Those were the days... I'm going to get one someday, I swear.

Dear Mr Ganzel, Your polarized microphotographs are a delight! How ironic that you have extended the utility of darkroom chemicals into the digital photographic world with your beautiful shots of fixer! Your work reminds me of that done late in life by the immensely versatile Roman Vishniac, who in his youth documented pre-Holocaust Eastern European Jewish communities, and in his later years turned to microphotography. Many years ago I had the pleasure of meeting him at an exhibit of his polarized-crystal photographs in New York. He was a delightful, impish man and a marvelous photographer at any scale. Thank you for your details on the equipment you've made. I have accumulated a few odd lenses and such myself and hope to adapt some of them to the Dimage S404 I've just picked up. If I can get the linkages right to the various bellows, tubes and lenses I've been using with my 35mm systems I should be well set. Best wishes!
