Hello, great man! Please i want to use the 3500xi flash unit in remote wireless mode on Dynax 5D. The flash is not compatible with the D5D's digital flash protocol. When You set the flash in wireless and the camera too, after put the flash away from the camera, if you push the AEL button the flash will try Lamp. After when you push the shot button on the camera the flash don't Lamp!!! Do you thing that is possible to make some adjustament on the flash firmware of other ? Please do you want to Hack the firmware of the 3500xi ??

I would like to connect a Minolta flash 3500xi to my D7D through the synchro flash connector for studio photography in manual mode off course.
Do you think it's possible ?
