Macro Pin Shims 2660.jpg

Remove the rear half of the lens assembly.
Watch for the little spring and macro pin.
Make note of shims, they only fit on one way, there is an extra hole on one side for the macro pin.

Hi, Pete!
Will you explain the function of macro pin? I mean, what happens when it shorts the contacts, other words what changes in working mode of the lens? And what happens if I remove it?
