Condor Release Attempt, 4/21/2007

Pinnacles park officials invited the public to watch the release of
three captive-raised California Condors on Saturday, April 21, 2007.
The condors never did find their way out of the enclosure that day,
but we got to see several previously-released condors gathering
around the release site, offering moral support to their cousins.

We were actually at the park on this day and saw our first Condor flying over us at the top of the high peaks.
