"Hoping for rain"

My good friend, walking buddy and neighbor Carol and I went to dinner tonight.
We stopped at my house afterward to watch the sunset and wish for rain. Alas,
it was not meant to be. The news tonight said this was the worst drought the
area has ever suffered, and we are better off than some other parts of Texas.
Everything is drying up and the wildlife is suffering.
We did however, enjoy a lovely sunset as seen below.

When I drove Carol home it was 95 degrees and it was after eight o'clock.

We got some rain last night and should get a little today, I hope. yep, it has been so dry. I hope it moves south towards you! You did capture a beautiful sunset!

Today is the first day of Spring ( we commence on the 1st day of Sep,Dec,Mar,June ) We have had rain for 2 days & the crisp grasses are greening up again...I hope relief comes for you soon, Petesie. That's a great looking sunset.
