My good friend, walking buddy and neighbor Carol and I went to dinner tonight.
We stopped at my house afterward to watch the sunset and wish for rain. Alas,
it was not meant to be. The news tonight said this was the worst drought the
area has ever suffered, and we are better off than some other parts of Texas.
Everything is drying up and the wildlife is suffering.
We did however, enjoy a lovely sunset as seen below.
When I drove Carol home it was 95 degrees and it was after eight o'clock.
