There are hundreds of these on my neighbor's cactus. We are going
to watch and see....and photograph them are they mature. Should be beautiful.

That looks like prickly pear, Petesie. Out here it has been considered one of the worst pests since being introduced by the early settlers as it swallowed up vasts tracts of grazing land. It's still a problem. Nice intimate capture of those little pups.
