My dry, pitiful acreage ~ Can't even call it a yard!

All this time I thought I had a lot of birds.....
You can see the evidence of our extreme drought by the dry, brown grass.
The roadrunner is a yard ornament....but I do have one around here.
I feel for the deer.....it is terrible out there. Dry and over 100 everyday.

This is a sad sight...we share the same still in most areas. I hope you find relief soon, Petesie

No apologies necessary. Our drought was 4 years ago...and threatens every year. We are lucky this year, but with the precipitation comes the tornadoes. 6 of one and 1/2 dozen of the other. Pick your poison. We've had tornadoes, destructive hail storms, damaging and flooding rain, etc. But I won't complain as my water bill is the cheapest its bean in years. Hope your situation improves soon.

Nice capture. Oh my, y'all are really, really dry. Danger of fire, too. I know you are putting water for the deer.
