I am fascinated by crows because of their intelligence, adaptability and social activity. Every day six crows pass through my yard and neighborhood warily foraging and doing what crows do. This gray and blustery day a thousand crows passed through in about an hour. They were raucous, bold, opportunistic and in cahoots, driving off other birds including raptors and were unafraid of me.
