Edinburgh

Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland since the 15th century. Although Glasgow has surpassed it as Scotland’s largest city, Edinburgh continues to be the cultural center of Scotland. Its main tourist sights are in Old Town along the Royal Mile running from Edinburgh Castle down to the Palace of Holyroodhouse. August is the month-long Edinburgh Festival.
