Süleymaniye Mosque

Located on top of a hill, Süleymaniye Mosque is the largest mosque in Istanbul. Designed by Mimar Sinan and completed in 1558, it followed the basic design of Hagia Sophia with a large dome support by half domes.
From the garden on the northeast side, the hill top view of the harbor is spectacular.
