This is a very elusive bird all birders wants to see. Outside of the dry season it is just about impossible to see. However, from Jan-March it can be seen coming to feed behind the restaurant at Khao Yai National Park. The kitchen sewage helps to produce not only maggets and flying insects but also food left overs which the Cuckoo is fond of in times of scarce food supplies within the forest.
