Platypus

I love photographing these characters. They dive for around 1-2 minutes and then
sit on the surface chewing their catch (mostly crustaceans and insect larvae)
creating expanding ripple rings as their jaws crunch up and down - often the
first sign of their presence . This regular activity lets you move the tripod
each time they dive and hope you don't scare them when they resurface (never
to be seen again!). This one just disappeared (didn't resurface)and shortly
