Northern Leaf Tailed Gecko - Lunch!

Wooroonooran National Park

When we came back to find if this Gecko was still there, we could see
the feet of one of these grasshoppers

sticking out of its mouth.

Given the sequence of photos on the camera with long horned grasshoppers just before
this image, one would have to say it was a setup and that we had fed this to the Gecko.....
Not so! Just one of those amazing serendipity moments!
And given the size of the grasshopper above and gecko as shown in this photo,

it's amazing just how it managed to eat it! These grasshoppers are strong,
powerful insects!
