First pictures taken with the new (january 30) D700 and the Nikon 70-200 f2.8 which will take some time to get used to...The D700 and the 70-200 are wonderful for big birds but not really appropriate for small birds from a distance, the reach is simply not there. Best is the D300 (dx) and the 300 or 500mm lenses with or without TC's, or the Sigma 150-500..Further pictures taken with various lenses.
