Day 8. Little flying squirrel. More...

OK, this was an exhausting day for the little tykes.
They graduated from large dog's kennel to closed bathroom (yesterday night), to free roam of the downstairs. So the little one was not his normal jumping self today and did not fly that high.
I am sure he will outperform this jump tomorrow.

As on any other picture, our little flying aviationist looks bigger than he really is.

The best is to watch our little flying squirrel climb the stairs (to 4rth step) to make a jump.
That is hard to predict with camera ready so I am not making any promises for the picture.

Interesting why is he doing it?

OK, we done some thinking, taking all in. The facts that they were calling out for human help,
that they had no worms, not ear mites, no fleas, all point to the fact that many of you were right.
They are not wild born, they must have been left to die by members of our species.

They may very well be feral (wild) kittens. My husband and I have fostered many feral litters and I can't remember even one kitten having fleas, or ear mites, or any problem for that matter. All were very healthy. It also took no time at all for them to get used to us, especially if they were very young, like yours are. Good luck with them They are adorable!
