A Preying Mantis about to pounce on a Flame Skimmer. It did make a grab but
the dragonfly was a bit too fast to make for what would have been a huge meal.
It really is amazing that most predatory insects have no problem hunting for prey
that is much larger and stronger than themselves. This illustrates a good example.

I was actually trying to shoot the DF and only noticed the preying mantis during the shooting.
