My first glacier (ever), seen over Greenland from 33,000 feet.
One of my most satisfying window seats of my life so far. The return trip from
Frankfurt to Los Angeles had us go up over Greenland. My first time for ever
seeing glaciers, icebergs and the frozen sea. I am not sure why it is called
Greenland, because the roughly 2,000 miles we traversed was almost nothing but
snow and ice. I was blessed with being on the right side of the plane (literally)
and having a cloud-free view. (Not the case as we passed by Iceland)
