Eastern Greenland

Greenland

Snow covered frozen sea and the outer regions of Greenland from 32,000 feet.

One of my most satisfying window seats ever. The return trip from Frankfurt to LA
had us go up over Greenland. My first time for ever seeing glaciers, icebergs and
the frozen sea. I am not sure why it is called Greenland, because the roughly 2,000
miles we traversed was almost nothing but snow and ice. I was blessed with being on
the right side of the plane (literally) and having a cloud-free view.
(Not the case as we passed by Iceland)

Interesting shot. If you had not told us, there would be no way to tell the scale of this one.

I think the person that named it Greenland was smokin some green.

Very barren landscape, perhaps this should have been called whiteland.
