A small clowder of Arctic cats. Sometimes clowders numbering 50 and even several hundreds can be regularly spotted along the parkways throughout Yellowstone. Generally the Arctic Cat is considered to be at the top of the food chain and they make no effort to hide or move silently. Word is that occasionally the much larger Snow Coach can get pissed off and take out one or more Arctic Cats with a simple sideways motion, especially when approaching in opposite directions.
