Very rare summertime flooding of San Marco Square, Venice. With the full moon, the water creeped up to cover the middle portion of the square for a few hours in the evening before disappearing completely. The opportunity to see and photograph this, along with everyone enjoying a warm summer evening in such a magical place, was very special indeed.
