Landscape layers, the Palouse, eastern Washinton State. Even on a poor light day, the Palouse is a great photographic opportunity. When the light is magical, as was often the case on this trip, the images become utterly surreal. F8 and Be There, plus some patience and luck, was definitely the way to get captures like this.
