A six day visit to see my family in Montreal was a nice spring treat. The weather was basically horrid - cold, rain, snow and dark ... not the usual weather fare for Montreal in the spring.

That being said, I had opportunities to photograph some truely remarkable places. The Mont Royal Cemetery is a "fun" place to shoot, especially with foreboding weather.

The other place was an abandoned industrial factory that was a visual photographic treat. Many thanks to fine art photographer Linda for the tip to this secret location.

With these types of images, I am never sure which I enjoy the most, the actual photo shoot or having fun in the digital darkroom once I was back home.
