Chartres, France

Dominated by the famous Chartres Cathedral, Chartres is a beautiful french town just west of Paris. Arriving late in the afternoon after a long drive from CDG airport in Paris (other side of the city, of course!) and after a long flight from Calgary to Paris, Sue and I enjoyed a great dinner in a local pub. We spend the next day exploring the area on foot, including the Cathedral, the town centre and the Saturday morning markets.
