This area is neither in the incorporated town of Arvin, nor the incorporated town of Tehachapi. Most of rural California is merely county land, so I always base the town name for each of my pictures on the zip code, as reported by Microsoft Streets and Trips, or some other mapping source. This spot is certainly much closer to Arvin, but MSS&T places it in Tehachapi's zip code. Maybe someday I'll start posting GPS coordinates.
