I always enjoyed that color-stripping effect on Manomet Beach on fall afternoons when the sun was low in the south. Looking northup the beach, the sand and rocks showed the full color spectrum. Looking sout down the beach, everything looked mercurial silver. The best part was watching the transition while scanning from north to south. Thanks for reminding me of that.
