Cork have had phenomenal support throughout the year. At the final (attended by over 78,000 people) the majority were supporting Cork. Despite pleas not to encroach onto the pitch, thousands of Cork supporters did, much to the disgust of the authorities, who frown on such practices due to the damage it can cause to the playing surface.
