Old Hebraic sect who were brought as bodyguards
from Crimea by a medieval Lithuanian ruler.
Their houses are on stilts and brightly coloured.
Their tombstones use Hebrew letters.
They speak Polish and/or Russian as well as Lithuanian.
Their bible is the Pentateuch but they
do not recognise the Talmud.
