This was taken right off the highway about 10 miles out of Lahaina. You can drive your car from the highway right down to the ocean (which is only about 20 feet from the highway). You can even park your car, pitch a tent, and camp. The restrictions we have on our beaches in California aren't present in Hawaii. Your free to camp anywhere you'd like.
