While sorting through old negatives today, I couldn't help but to feel a little bit melancholy knowing I would never expose another roll of film again since I've completely gone digital. This negative is from a roll of film I took back in 1991 while on my first (and last) hot air balloon ride in Palm Springs.

This is a wonderful image, Paul - nicely cropped and lit. Love the curl of the negative and the faint "portraits" it conveys on the table. Excellent!

Thanks for all your kind comments! I wanted to answer Elizabeth's question as to what kind of surface the film is sitting on. It's actually my own little miniature version of a seamless background. It's just an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of paper curling up behind the film. What looks like reflections are actually the light projecting through the film and onto the paper. :)
