M2 Machine Gun: USAAF

Here is a 50 caliber M2 machine gun that I just built for the B-17 I'm working on (different gallery). This 3D model of the M2 model is pretty much complete. All groups associated with the M2 have been built. Only a few cotter pins and a few other minor things were left unbuilt.

I also built a USAAF E-11 adapter for the gun. The M2 has a set of B-15 iron sights.

Yeah, I have wanted to do that but it would be very time consuming. There is no telling when I might get to something like that.

Is it possible to add any animation to these models? Would be great to see something like this 50cal in slow motion operation.
Would be cool, but certainly NOT needed to enjoy all the details involved in the build.

Right. Building the internal mechanism for the weapon meant that it took three times longer to build than it otherwise would have.

Another terrific 3D model, but actually with all the parts it is many models put together I guess...just great!
