Needles Ice Dock

This appears to be a fairly early picture of the icing operation at the Needles, CA ice dock. Note the handbrake wheels on the reefers and how many people are in view. One can only imagine how big a crew was involved in icing the large reefer trains that arrived here in the desert heat.
