Pictures of breakup of river ice in the Moose River at Moosonee on April 18, 2005 and shortly thereafter. The river broke up on the 18th but there were still large quantities of ice that had to float out into James Bay to clear the river. All pictures taken on April 18th unless otherwise noted. The first boat was on the river on the 19th and there were water taxis running on the 20th.
