Spring training is what Major League Baseball should be like all season. It's baseball played in an intimate stadium where fans are close to the players and the action. Just about every kid who wants to leave with a souvenir baseball gets to. The concessions are reasonably priced and the players seem to actually acknowledge the existence of the fans. The home team Orioles got clobbered in this game against the Florida Marlins. Who cares? It was a great day to watch baseball.
