The chick continues to grow rapidly, with feathers replacing down. The chick rarely if ever cries for food. With no sibling with whom to compete and two attentive parents, it may not be necessary? It is well fed. Both cicidas and one small bird, not a Chimney Swift, were brought to the nest today between 8:45-10:00 AM.
