Our trip home from Amman was delayed three days, so we took a day trip out to Jerash, a large Roman ruins, which turned out to be a highlight of the journey. While there, busloads of Jordanian school girls arrived and wanted to take our pictures, so of course I asked to take theirs. "Hello. How are you? Are you enjoying Jordan?" Then the girls burst out in giggles as we answered.
