This picture is taken from the kitchen window as the first customer comes in around dawn. The light is around the corner. The temperature is in the low 20's.

Buff-bellied Hummingbird
I moved outside after sunrise to get pictures as each of my four hummingbirds came to drink.

The other 7 feeders around the yard were put out, but still refreezing after an hour or so.

This guy is the controlling bird of this feeder. He would sit at his usual perch in a tree nearby, but only fuss and not chase.

This front yard female is the fourth of my current residents. All four would use this warmed feeder until temperatures climbed later in the morning.
