I lost a Harris' Hawk on April 4th 2006. He was wearing leather anklets, jesses. He was also wearing a seamless band on hit leg with a USFWS number. He had been sighted several times after that. He was lost in Arnaudville, behind the High School. But, not when I was able to travel and retreive him. I assume that the band is still on my bird.

Here is the text of the notice I passed around during that time:

. Help find my beloved ‘Zorro’. ‘Zorro’ is a trained Male Harris’ Hawk.
15 years old. Wearing Bells, Leather Anklets, Nylon Jesses, I.D. tag and Radio Telemetry (Frequency 216.023*(CW). Seamless aluminum USFWS band. Weight: 700 grams. Lost on Roy Road off Hwy 93 behind Beau Chene High School on April 3, 2006. Last seen near Araundville, Louisiana, 15 miles north of Lafayette.
