This day was our first experience of the Onsen. I didn't take any photos of the baths (no surprises there, I think) but I will say that it was very nice to be able to soak in hot water and look up to the snow on the branches a few feet above me. Must try that again.

After the soaking we both felt very relaxed! This is a picture of us enjoying the standard attire provided by the Ryokan.

Thanks to Ayun Uncle for explaining the customs to me, and presumably Fong Auntie did the same for Lilac!

Not very good composition, since we seem to have flowers growing out of our heads, but I suppose that's one of the hazards of this sort of self-portrait.
