A bug
I don't know what kind of beetle this is, but he definitely looked lost.

Canon EOS 350D , EF 70-300 DO IS + 500D
The splotch at bottom right may be an effect of the DO lens. I have taken thousands of photos with this lens and it's the first time I have seen this. The picture is a crop, but the artifact was off-centre in the original as well. full exif
