We always used to go there every christmas eve for the nativity service, it's gorgeous. I just googled it to see what time it was on this year and your name came up first with your lovely pics.

I FIRST VISITED St. ANDREWS CHURCH SOME 20 YEARS AGO AND AT THAT TIME I NOTICED THAT THERE WAS A PLAQUE ON ONE OF THE WALLS DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY OF AN OFFICER WHO SERVED IN THE KINGS ROYAL RIFLE CORPS. (THE 60th. RIFLES). I PAID A VISIT TO THE CHURCH OVER THE BANK HOLIDAY FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF SEEING THAT PLAQUE AGAIN IN ORDER TO OBTAIN WHAT PARTICULARS I COULD GATHER ABOUT THIS OFFICER; BUT TO MY DISSAPOINTMENT THE PLAQUE IS NO LONGER THERE. AS I AM NOW A MEMBER OF THE KINGS ROYAL RIFLES ASSOCIATION I WOULD LIKE TO WRITE AN ARTICLE ABOUT HIM IN OUR NEWS LETTER. IF ANYBODY WHO READS THIS CAN OFFER ANY INFORMATION REFERING TO THE PLAQUE OR CAN CONNECT ME TO SOMEONE WHO MAY KNOW SOMETHING OF ITS CONTENTS; I WOULD BE VERY GRATEFUL. I THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.

Hi I was married here in July 1991, as were both my 2 older sisters, I aslo have family buried here, but only found that out recently
