Pacific Cutlery Corp was one of the 2 precursor companies to Benchmade Knife Co. The most noticable carry-over between the companies is the trademarked Butterfly logo.
I have a knife here that is made by Pacific Cutlery and is a Tanto by Kuzan Oda. It looks sorta like the Pacific Cutlery 750, but the blade is not shinny and the handle is metal and it has no hand gaurd. Can I get any info about this knife?

Wow - this is great to see all of these Pacific's - I used to buy them in California in the 80's - then moved to Atlanta in the 90's and the midwest in 2003 and hardly anyone knows about them outside of CA -- occassionally E-bay lists one or two -
thanks for taking the time to post all of this - I'll see if I have anything I can add
Thanks Again

Very nice collection of Pacifics; i'm sorry i didn't buy more when they were in business. I was very lucky and got a prototype set of 3 subhilt fighters by Gordon-
3 sets made, mine P.C.P. #3. Showed them to Les DeAsis a few years ago and he
confirmed what they were. My son is drooling to get his hands on them.
